Avaya Recognized as a Leader for 2nd Consecutive Year in Aragon Research Globe™ for Unified Communications and Collaboration

Avaya Leadership Based on its Cloud Offerings, Completeness of Strategy and Performance

Santa Clara, Calif. – April 29, 2019 – Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE: AVYA) today announced it has been recognized as a Leader in the The Aragon Research Globe for Unified Communications and Collaboration, 2019.

According to the report1, authored by Aragon Research lead analyst Jim Lundy and associate analyst Samra Anees, “Avaya has a robust portfolio of cloud and private cloud offerings that leverage its API based UCC platform. Avaya is fully committed to cloud, and its video-based offerings work out of the box or can be integrated into existing, client-facing applications. While Avaya has a large on-premise install base, the shift to cloud positions it well for the future.”

Avaya IX Workplace unified communication solutions help take collaboration and productivity to new levels, designed to incorporate calling, messaging, meetings, and team collaboration all into one, easy-to-use platform. Reducing complexity also reduces the security risks and productivity drain from having multiple solutions in the workplace. Teams are better connected and enabled, helping them to become stronger customer advocates and driving improved brand loyalty. Avaya IX Workplace can be delivered in whatever way customers prefer—on premise or private, public or hybrid cloud.

“For businesses to succeed in the future it is important for them to embrace digital transformation today,” said Jim Chirico, CEO, Avaya. “We believe that earning this distinction reflects our continued innovation and commitment to offer differentiated solutions that enhance customer experience and workforce efficiency. Avaya is investing significantly in its Unified Communications portfolio to provide customers the solutions that best meet their needs, to leverage UC, including telephony, video, mobility, messaging, meetings and team collaboration.”
