LAS VEGAS—Avaya ENGAGE – February 13, 2017 – Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, has recognized six partners throughout Canada and Latin America for outstanding support, contribution and commitment to innovation at its Avaya ENGAGE event, currently underway at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The Partner awards are the first accolades to be presented at the five-day event and celebrate leaders throughout Canada and Latin America across five categories, including: Innovation, Networking, Midmarket, Cloud and Service; as well as an overall award for Partner of the Year.
The following winners were announced during the ENGAGE ceremony:
- RT4 (Mexico) – winner: Innovation Partner of the Year.
As an Avaya EDGE Diamond business partner, RT4 Mexico created a software development department to build SNAP Ins for Avaya customers, including delivery of complete business solutions and outcomes. These SNAP Ins are now being leveraged by some of Avaya’s top customers. Furthermore, RT4 has been pioneering in its use of Avaya’s latest solutions, including Breeze, Oceana and Equinox.
- Charter (Canada) – winner: Networking Partner of the Year

- First Tech Technologia Ltda. (Brazil) – winner Service Partner of the Year

- Combat Networks Inc (Canada) – winner Overall Partner of the Year
Combat Networks, a 15 year Avaya partner, is a Network Solutions Integrator for enterprise corporate, government and defense infrastructures with offices coast-to-coast in major Canadian cities. In 2016, it executed one of the largest deals in recent years with more than 12,000 users and networking ports.
