Avaya is Recognized as a Customers’ Choice in 2018 Gartner Peer Insights for Unified Communications

Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice Recognition is Based on Feedback and Ratings From End-User Professionals Who Have Experience Purchasing, Implementing and/or Using the Product or Service

Santa Clara, Calif. – Oct. 29, 2018 – Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE:AVYA) today announced it has been named a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Communications. Gartner defines Unified Communications (UC) as “products (equipment, software and services) as those that facilitate the interactive use of multiple enterprise communications methods. This can include control, management and integration of these methods. UC products integrate communications channels (media), networks and systems, as well as IT business applications and, in some cases, consumer applications and devices.”

Gartner defines The Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice as “a recognition of vendors in this market by verified end-user professionals, taking into account both the number of reviews and the overall user ratings.” For this recognition, a vendor must have a minimum of 50 published ratings with an average overall rating of 4.2 stars or higher. To ensure fair evaluation, Gartner maintains rigorous criteria for recognizing vendors.
