Avaya Receives Channel Influencer Award from Channel Partners

Company appears on the inaugural list of influencers shaping the channel in 2018

Santa Clara, Calif. – April 23, 2018 – Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE:AVYA) today announced that it has been recognized by Channel Partners and Channel Futures as a winner of the industry’s first Channel Influencer Awards. Selected by editors of the publications, the Channel Influencer Awards recognize the people, technologies, trends and organizations that will shape the new channel in 2018.

Specifically, Avaya was named as an Organization to Watch, a category which is made up of the top suppliers, consultancies, distributors and master agents moving the channel forward in 2018.

Avaya was honored at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo award ceremony, which was held on April 18th.  Gary M. Levy, Vice President of Americas Channels accepted the award on behalf of Avaya.

“We are honored to receive this award in recognition of our commitment and demonstrated results in giving partners the best programs, resources, and tools that enable partners to help customers navigate digital transformation and  create the best customer experiences in the industry,” said Levy. “Our partners are critical to creating lasting value with customers and our mutual success.”

Since the beginning of the 2018, Avaya has launched a number of products, solutions and programs that extend channel opportunities. Among the programs directly benefitting the channel is a new, Cloud Master Agent program that enables partners to take advantage of the growing demand for Avaya Cloud, without investing in their own data center deployment. Avaya has also stepped up training and skills development for partners offering and integrating Avaya unified communications and contact center applications as a service to customers who evolve premises-based installations with new capabilities delivered via the cloud.
