Avaya Aura Components

  • Valid licenses are required for the following Avaya Aura® 5.2 or above components:
    • Avaya Aura® Messaging
    • Avaya Aura® Application Enablement Services
    • Avaya Aura® Communication Manager
    • Avaya Aura® Session Manager
    • Avaya Aura® System Manager

Redundancy via Double-Take® Disaster Recovery

  • Requires another server to mirror the Avaya Cloud Application Link server:
    • Server must at least meet the minimum requirements needed to run the Avaya Cloud Application Link server
    • Windows Server 2012 (64-bit)
    • Network Interface Cards for the Avaya Cloud Application Link server and backup server
  • A second computer is required to run the client software that controls the behavior of the servers (this computer can be any machine on the same network)
  • Double-Take® backup system can be applied to an existing installation or to a new installation


  • Avaya Cloud Application Link will support up to 6,000 users in a single instance
  • Support for multiple instances of Cloud Application Link

  • Support for physical and virtual servers

Cloud-Based Application Support

  • A valid license is required to operate Cloud Application Link with any of these applications:
    • Google Apps
    • Microsoft Office 365 (Enterprise E3, E4, OR E5)
    • Salesforce (Enterprise or Unlimited Edition)

Supported Web Browsers

  • Avaya Aura® Communicator for Web and our iLink for Avaya Scopia® Desktop web extensions require either:
    • Internet Explorer 11 or later
    • The latest version of Google Chrome

Additional Licensing Requirements

  • The iLink for Avaya Scopia® Desktop requires a valid Avaya Scopia® Conferencing license
  • Google Hangouts integration requires a valid Google/Google Hangouts account
