“That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.” It’s a quote that perfectly sums up Avaya’s recent exit from chapter 11.

After months of hard work and extensive negotiations among our various stakeholders, we have not only restructured our company from a financial point-of-view, we have transformed our entire business by reducing our debt, strengthening our balance sheet and increasing cash flow to fuel new investments in innovation and growth.

Today, we are not only stronger than ever, we are solely focused on the future we want to build with our customers and partners. From this point forward, every initiative we put forward will be rooted in our commitment to be a customer-centric company – one that listens closely and always meets the needs and expectations of those we do business with.

With a focus on our core business (contact center, collaboration, services and cloud) over the next year we will significantly accelerate our efforts to enable our customers and partners to deploy and consume our solutions in their preferred model, including the Private and Public cloud.  With our technology we also enable automation across many industries and solutions. Today our platforms are more open so that it is easier and faster to integrate the best applications— this of course includes being part of the ecosystem of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT and Blockchain.  Avaya will make it easier, faster and more secure for customers to adopt emerging technologies and enable digital transformation.

We are incredibly grateful to our partners for their continued dedication and partnership. As we start a new journey for Avaya focused on growth and winning, we are renewing our commitment to our channel partners and looking forward to them playing an even bigger role in our go-to-market strategy.
