Avaya Unveils Americas International Partner of the Year Awards at Avaya ENGAGE 2019

Top Regional Partners recognized in Cloud, Innovation, Services and MidMarket

Avaya ENGAGE – Austin, TX – January 23, 2019 – Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE: AVYA) today honored six of its international partners for their outstanding support, contribution and commitment to innovation. Avaya’s Americas International (A.I.) Partner of the Year Awards celebrate leaders across four categories: Innovation, MidMarket, Cloud and Service–in addition to an award for Overall Partner of the Year.

It is an honor to celebrate these six partners and Avaya looks forward to continuing to grow together as we drive successful digital transformation for customers worldwide.”

The following winners were announced during Avaya ENGAGE in Austin, TX:

  • Cloud Partner of the Year: Olitel Telecomuniçacôes S.A, Brasil
    Cloud is one of the fastest growing parts of Avaya’s business, particularly in Americas International. Olitel Telecommunicators understands the value of Avaya’s cloud offerings and have been growing QoQ and YoY. Through an understanding of the value of working with strategic Service Providers and where Avaya solutions fit for the Brazilian market, customers went from zero seats to more than 10,000 in less than 6 months.
     
  • Innovation Partner of the Year: RT4 Mexico S.A de C.V.
    As an Avaya EDGE Diamond business partner, RT4 Mexico decided to focus heavily on adding value to their solutions with their main customers looking for ways to adopt digital transformation as a way to provide incremental revenue. As a result, RT4 Mexico grew their top line business by 30%, by driving Avaya’s advanced technology solutions.
     
  • Service Partner of the Year: TELMEX
    TELMEX, the leading telecommunications and services company in Mexico, has made significant investments to develop the most robust and cutting-edge technological platform to offer the widest range of solutions, with the highest standards of quality, safety, reliability and competitiveness; therefore, in the best strategic partner in advanced Telecommunications and IT services.

    In alliance with Avaya the company offers advanced Unified Communications (CUAD) that allow the mobility and use of services such as video, voice, chat and audio, as well as customized solutions in Contact Center for the different business sectors among them, Hospitality.

    TELMEX has also the most technologically advanced data centers in Mexico, which provide the highest standards of security and continuity in systems.

  • MidMarket Partner of the Year: Smart IP Inc.
    As a key Avaya partner, Smart IP achieved this award by growing their business with Avaya over 146% within products and 14% within services. The company achieved key customer wins promoting and went from a Sapphire to a Diamond Avaya partner and are a registered cloud partner looking to continue to grow that business in 2019.
     
  • Overall Partners of the Year: BELLTECH LATAM and Combat Networks Inc
    Based in Chile, BELLTECH LATAM has been an Avaya partner for more than two decades and is committed to finding new ways to achieve mutual business growth. The company grew their services business by more than 80% and renewals by 20%. They won more than 70 new logo customers during 2018, including government, financial and manufacturing customers.

In Canada, Combat Networks grew all areas of their Avaya business, including UC by 56% and CC by 221%. With Services, they grew APS by 191% and renewals by 10%. This growth consisted of winning new business, including one of North America's largest deployed police services with CPODS, a large city with a CS1K migration to Aura and a large utility that produces almost half of the electricity that Ontario homes, schools, hospitals and businesses rely on each day.
