Yanfeng Automotive Interiors implements an Avaya global cloud and managed service solution covering 110 locations
Santa Clara, Calif. – March 28, 2018 – Avaya Holdings Inc. (NYSE:AVYA) today announced that Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI) has connected its global locations and workforce with an Avaya Cloud network. The company, which manufactures interiors for the world’s most recognized automotive brands, is enabling thousands of employees in 110 locations with Avaya unified communications and collaboration solutions delivered via the Cloud. Avaya is also providing managed services for YFAI’s entire communications operation.
Established in 2015, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors is a giant in its industry. The newly-formed company needed a global communications and collaboration platform that would provide the advanced capabilities to easily connect employees in any location around the world. At the same time, however, YFAI recognized that the requirements for managing such a network would detract from its focus on its core business.
The answer was to leverage Avaya’s expertise to deliver and manage global private cloud network based on Avaya Aura® unified communications. Using a standard cloud solution across the 20 countries where YFAI has facilities enables the speed and agility the company needs for employees to collaborate more effectively and efficiently. As an OPEX solution, YFAI avoids extensive upfront capital costs and instead has a predictable monthly cost structure.
