Conveyant Systems’ Sentry and Sentry Lite Now Rated “Avaya Compliant”

Suwanee, GA – January 29, 2018 – Conveyant Systems, a leading supplier of Emergency Response Management (ERM) Solutions and PC-based Attendant Consoles, today announced that its Sentry and Sentry Lite Solutions are compliant with the Avaya IP Office Platform 10.1 from Avaya, a global provider of business communications software, systems and services.

The Sentry ERM portfolio, available through the Avaya DevConnect Select Product Program, provides IP Office enterprise customers with the critical tools needed to better manage the locations of all types of telephone devices and personnel in any environment during an emergency event or a 911 call in the facility. Robust on-site notification solutions provide internal first responders with the explicit location of the device as well as additional details crucial for internal response teams to provide access and direction to arriving public safety responders.

The Sentry Lite solution provides a greater segment of customers with an affordable alternative, allowing them to manage their E911 compliance of the notification requirements being added to most new legislation. Intentionally developed and designed for cost-effectiveness, Sentry Lite helps any customer comply with 911 legislation, such as Kari’s Law, which is very close to being signed by the President.

The solutions are now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office 10.1.

Conveyant Systems is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.  Its Sentry ERM solutions are available through the Avaya DevConnect Select Product Program. Also available through the Select Product Program is the Conveyant Sentry VPC solution, which provides carrier call routing services required to deliver the call to the proper PSAP, dynamically based on real-time detection of the caller’s current location.

As a Technology Partner, Conveyant Systems is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
