iO® Computer Aided Dispatch by Beta 80 Now Available through the Avaya DevConnect Select Product Program

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 10, 2017– Today Beta 80, a leading provider of emergency communications services, announced that its iO® suite of services, including Computer Aided Dispatch, Call Taking, and Tavolo® – a multi-touch large screen collaborative tool that manages resources and enhances situational awareness for emergency communications – will be sold through the Avaya DevConnect Select Product Program.  Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services. Avaya Engagement Solutions enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices for better customer experience, increased productivity and enhanced financial performance.   

The Select Product Program offers customers a streamlined way to order Avaya-compatible, third-party applications chosen for the powerful capabilities they bring to the Avaya portfolio.

The Beta 80 iO® suite of services offered through the program have been compliance-tested for compatibility with the Avaya Aura® Platform.  Integrating with the Avaya Aura Platform enables companies to easily extend emergency communications services, including NG 9-1-1, which address every aspect of a PSAP’s needs to receive, manage, and dispatch 9-1-1 calls for help.  As part of the Avaya orderable solution set, Beta 80 solutions can be easily purchased through both Avaya and its authorized channel partners.  Customers can add specific capabilities to their existing Avaya Aura Platform or can source a complete Avaya-based communications solution that incorporates Beta 80’s iO® solutions for public safety communications and emergency response.    

Beta 80 and other companies participating in the Select Product Program are Technology Partners in the Avaya DevConnect Program – an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.  

Streamlined ordering through the Select Product Program is available globally for CAD, Call Taking, and the Tavolo®.  Offers may vary by country. Delivery, implementation, service and support are provided by Select Product Program companies.

Recent Successful Collaboration. 
On June 20, 2017, Beta 80 and Avaya successfully implemented a fully-integrated solution for the Catania NUE 112 PSAP in Sicily, Italy. The 24-seat PSAP covers the eastern area of the Sicily region and serves over 2.7 million people.
