Moscow, Russia – April 2, 2020 — Medsi Group, the leading national network of private medical clinics in Russia, has deployed technology from Avaya Holdings Corp. [NYSE: AVYA] to dramatically improve patient experiences while at the same time providing employees with a more attractive work-life balance.
By installing Avaya IX Workforce Engagement Management, and integrating it with an upgraded Avaya IX Contact Center solution, Medsi medical staff are more available when and where patients need them most. Thanks to improved scheduling capabilities, patients can now take medical consultations through a range of channels, while staff are given better lifestyle features such as easy shift-trading with colleagues and automated holiday approvals, leading to happier and more positive patient interactions.

In addition, expanding the availability of medical consultations through various communication channels also helps to prevent undesirable consequences due to untimely seeking help. To support the delivery of healthcare on its patients’ terms, Medsi has also upgraded its existing Avaya IX Workplace solution, providing ubiquitous access to audio and video collaboration capabilities and corporate chat to over 5,000 employees spread across over 40 medical institutions, greatly improving the speed with which non-medical services are delivered. Loads on back-office staff have also been reduced thanks to the addition of self-service capabilities.
Working together, these Avaya solutions have delivered skyrocketing productivity among Medsi employees, as well as better employee experiences driven by improved mobility and enhanced access to corporate services.
