Avaya Edge Channel Program Delivers, Evolves and Expands Partner Opportunities

Program receives 5-Star Partner Program Rating from CRN

 

Santa Clara, Calif. – April 2, 2018 – Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE: AVYA) today announced that progress made in meeting commitments, evolving programmatics and expanding partner opportunities has netted the Avaya Edge channel program a 5-Star rating from CRN® , a brand of The Channel Company.

Avaya’s efforts to improve its channel program fall into three key areas: simplification, speed of commerce, skills development – all designed to enable partners to succeed as businesses transition to Cloud solutions, engage in digital transformation and look to the advantages of new and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain. By way of example in each area:

  • Simplification:  Avaya has made it easier for partners to do business with the company. The Avaya Cloud storefront is the result of extensive infrastructure improvements targeted at enhancing the speed and ease of transacting cloud sales. Now customers and sales agents can quote and place orders electronically in minutes. In addition, Avaya’s latest cloud performance incentives reward partners for their growth across Avaya’s solutions and services portfolio, and the value they provide to their customers.  The Avaya CX Partner App provides instant access from mobile devices to customer materials, videos, in-app messaging and tailored news preferences and more to stay up-to-date and equipped with the tools and materials they need to win.
  • Skills development: Avaya knows the relationship partners have with their customers’ means keeping them abreast of the use cases for new and emerging technologies and how they are supported by the Avaya portfolio. Avaya Edge Cloud Integrator and Specialist program tracks help ensure partners have the skills needed to assist companies with the transition to adopt Avaya cloud solutions. The Avaya World Innovation Tour – happening now – translates terms like digital transformation, customer experience, and omni-channel into smarter, more personal interactions and more flexible, secure systems. Live solution demonstrations show how artificial intelligence, blockchain, IoT and Cloud integrate with the Avaya portfolio to help connect everyone with everything, making work less work and customer service more extraordinary. Avaya also hosts over 100 partner enablement sessions per quarter with over 20,000 attendees, connecting partners with industry experts and tools to solve customer challenges and deliver the best communications experience possible.

The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs. To determine the 2018 5-Star ratings, The Channel Company’s research team assessed each vendor’s partner program based on investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.
