Avaya Announces Partner of the Year Awards at Avaya ENGAGE 2018

Top Americas International partners recognized in Service, Innovation, Cloud and Midmarket

Santa Clara, Calif. - February 5, 2018 - Last week at ENGAGE, Avaya (NYSE: AVYA) honored five Canadian and Latin American partners for their outstanding support, contribution and commitment to innovation. Avaya’s Partner of the Year Awards celebrate leaders across four categories (Service, Innovation, Cloud, and Midmarket) in addition to presenting an Overall Partner of the Year award for Latin America and Canada.

The following winners were announced during Avaya ENGAGE in New Orleans last week:

Overall Partner of the Year – Combat Networks, Canada
Combat Networks, a 16-year Avaya partner, is a network solutions integrator for enterprise corporate, government and defense infrastructures. Once Avaya Canada’s largest networking partner, Combat increased its focus and competency on Avaya’s unified communications (UC) and contact center (CC) portfolios in recent years, seeing 72% YoY overall growth in 2017 based on increases of 187% in UC, 164% in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), and 535% in Avaya Professional Services (APS). Maintaining almost 200 Avaya certifications, this partner continues to deliver outstanding CSAT and ISAT results, and consistently renews an average of more than 80% of its support contracts.

Service Partner of the Year – Belltech, Latin America
Belltech, a leading provider of CC, UC, IP Telephony, and Point of Sale technology solutions, experienced incredible 481% YoY growth with an impressive focus on APS. Working with Avaya to provide a winning solution to its customers, Belltech invested in additional resources to maintain its co-delivery status and met all on-time renewal metrics.

Innovation Partner of the Year – Seal Telecom, Brazil
Seal Telecom invested in expanding its business with Avaya in enterprise UC solutions over the past year, becoming the first Avaya partner in market in the region. Evolving its portfolio to include Equinox, the company sold one of the biggest Equinox solutions in Latin America (MCU, Pathfinder, more than 36 endpoint video devices). This win led to another UC account where it sold more than 500 seats of Aura.

Cloud Partner of the Year – Claro Servicios Empresariales, Chile
Claro Servicios Empresariales became the first Cloud Specialist in the region under the new Avaya Edge Partner Program. Offering a full opex, pay-per-use solution based on IP Office and Avaya Session Border Controller, this partner now has more than 23 customers, leading the number of seats with more than 3000 in both the midmarket and enterprise segments.

Midmarket Partner of the Year – AXTEL S.A.B de C.V, Mexico
AXTEL S.A.B de C.V, a provider of IT and telecommunication services across Mexico, grew more than 23% YoY by 1) simplifying its offer and flexible bundles, reducing its sales training program for account managers from one week to one day, 2) developing a mobile, web-based configurator to reduce quotes from weeks to hours and 3) integrating the configurator into its supply chain, reducing delivery times from months to one week.
