Transformation and change provide the perfect backdrop to announce that today, Avaya has entered into a strategic partnership with RingCentral. Together we will introduce a new global unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solution called Avaya Cloud Office ( “ACO”). This solution brings the strengths of both companies together… RingCentral’s cloud platform with Avaya’s technical expertise, scale, sales and partner network to create a robust, flexible and exclusive UCaaS offer.
The partnership is a true coming together of two industry leaders, enabling Avaya to deliver unparalleled breadth and depth of cloud communications. With ACO, we are expanding our leading UC and CC technology portfolio to encompass a full suite of on-premise and cloud options, that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners. We expect that ACO will initially be available to customers and partners beginning in the first quarter of calendar year 2020. As the two companies work together to further build on ACO there will be additional features, functions, migration capabilities, tools and services to deliver a highly differentiated Avaya UCaaS offer.
