Get Engaged with Avaya—Be a Speaker Thought Leader at Avaya ENGAGE 2019

Avaya ENGAGE is the single largest gathering of Avaya users annually. The road to each conference includes many hours of planning starting far in advance. Avaya ENGAGE 2019 comes to Austin, TX January 20-23 and is expected to attract 3,000+ attendees. Resulting from a close partnership between Avaya and the International Avaya User Group (IAUG), Avaya ENGAGE typically offers 150+ breakouts spanning seven educational tracks. We cover topics like Digital Transformation, Customer Experience, Team Collaboration, Unified Communications, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Services.

Seeking Avaya ENGAGE 2019 Speakers—Apply by September 6

One of the planning activities that Avaya and IAUG undertake first is a call for speakers. The educational content of any conference is the supporting layer that makes the conference structure strong and compelling. Without a solid base of useful and timely content, any conference would find it difficult to attract visitors year after year. Being a part of the thought leadership at Avaya ENGAGE is a great way for Avaya constituents to contribute to the conversation with peers and colleagues. Mark your calendar: the call for speakers closes on September 6.

We are actively seeking proposals from IAUG members, our partners (both business and technology partners), and our customers. We know it takes a village to build top-quality, diversified content.

At Avaya ENGAGE, the best of our ecosystem comes together to present top-of-the-line resources, experts, and solutions. This four-day experience includes general sessions, breakouts, awards, and a wealth of opportunities to network. Through Avaya ENGAGE, Avaya customers learn how to optimize efficiencies while decreasing costs, solve real-world business challenges, develop in-person connections, and drive professional growth. This event is one of our most powerful tools to create customer satisfaction, introduce products, and strengthen the customer experience.

Top Topics—Are You a Subject Matter Expert?

Avaya ENGAGE is also considered a quality educational program, thanks to a broad range of contributions from our “village.” To round out the overall educational experience, we encourage people to submit proposals that will help develop the business and technical acumen of attendees. We’re looking for sessions that address:

  • Driving today’s business decisions through real-life implementation stories and case studies
  • Practical insights to help solve today’s business challenges and create real business outcomes and solutions
  • How to build a strategy and roadmap for a company’s future
  • Market trends in communications that can help a company grow its business
  • Winning strategies for accelerating digital transformation in the industry

Each year we receive more submissions than we can accept. While there are some repeat presenters (only those top rated by attendees), we do seek to ensure the majority of our speakers and presentations are brand new for each conference.

If you’re interested in applying, we need well-thought-out, complete, unique submissions. Content that is intermediate to advanced scores the best—this audience is well beyond entry-level definitions. And don’t shy away from controversy—this is a forum for industry discussion, and debates and out-of-the-box thinking are appreciated. Challenge the audience with unconventional thinking.
