Congratulations to the Avaya 2018 Women of the Channel

Congratulations to the Avaya 2018 Women of the Channel

Avaya’s core strength lies in our people, and now we have yet another proof point, with well-deserved industry recognition announced for three channel team members who have been helping fuel much of the growing momentum across our partner communities.

CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Elizabeth Burton, Cynthia Caramico and Monica Cruz from the Avaya Global Partner Marketing team to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. Monica, Cynthia and Elizabeth certainly demonstrate all this and more.

They have been key members of the teams that have helped redefine how we go to market with our partners, continuously helping to advance, simplify and optimize the Avaya Edge Partner Program—which was also recognized last month with a 5-Star Rating in CRN’s 2018 Partner Program Guide, for the ninth consecutive year. They have also helped us communicate and engage with partners and customers like never before, as we enjoyed record attendance at Avaya Engage in New Orleans, followed by a highly successful Avaya Innovation Edge partner tour covering 12 cities … and counting!

As total team members, these three would be quick to point out that all of this success can only be accomplished through fully aligned efforts across organizations. What really makes the magic happen is partnerships with the A teams in Avaya field marketing, strategic marketing, channels sales and operations teams and others, as well those throughout our partner ecosystem. And several members from our partner teams were also recognized by CRN for their outstanding work.

We couldn’t be more excited for these accomplished women, and we are proud to have them all as part of our team. On behalf of Avaya and our partners, congratulations and thank you for all you do.
