Secure Router 4000 Series
Offering high-end performance and capacity, the Secure Router 4134 for unified communications integrates multiple networking functions in a single device. Functions include IPv4/IPv6 routing, wide area networking, high-density Ethernet switching, power over Ethernet, voice media gateway, application hosting, and security. These capabilities allow businesses to realize the promise of the unified branch. The 4134 can address the routing and connectivity needs of large enterprise branches as well as regional or even headquarter sites.
Features and Benefits
The Avaya 4134 Secure Router supports a wide range of LAN, WAN, voice gateway, and application options for converged branch and remote sites. WAN connectivity options include T1/E1, serial, ISDN, ADSL2+, channelized DS3/T3 and HSSI.
Integrated security, including a stateful firewall and high-speed VPN encryption allows for secure connections to the Internet or IP network.
Hot-swappable modules, redundant power and port/platform resilience features deliver maximum reliability and resiliency. And survivable voice services allow continued voice calling when the primary IP connection is lost.
