MACERATA, Italy - Empix evolve srl, a leading software developer providing unified communications, presence, full IP fax and Skype integration solutions, today announced that its xtension evolve product suite including presence server, fax server, skypetophone and connect2 are compliant with a key Internet protocol telephony solution from Avaya Inc., a global leader in enterprise communications systems, software and services.
The xtension evolve presence server, fax server and connect2 applications help businesses integrate presence and fax with the telephony system, create vertical unified communications solutions and establish communications-enabled business processes (CEBP). The xtension evolve skypetophone application reroutes incoming calls intended for a specific Skype client to an associated IP Office extension via a SIP trunk. Outgoing calls can also be made from an IP Office extension to a specific Skype destination client using an assigned speed dial number. The outgoing call is routed via a SIP trunk to the xtension evolve skypetophone application which then routes the call to the destination Skype client. The applications now are compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office Release 6.0. Avaya compliance testing focuses on interoperability of third party applications with Avaya products only. Avaya does not test or warrant interoperability of third party applications with non-Avaya products.1
