Juniper Networks EX-series Ethernet Switches Achieve Avaya Interoperability Certification to Deliver Enterprise IP Telephony Solutions

(NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced certification compliance of the Juniper Networks EX-series Ethernet switches with Internet protocol (IP) telephony solutions from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services. Juniper's EX-series Ethernet switches were successfully compliance tested by Avaya resulting in seamless interoperability with Avaya Communication Manager R5.0, Avaya 9630 IP telephones and Avaya 4610SW IP telephones.
 
Running on Juniper's powerful JUNOS® software, a single-source code base network operating system, the EX-series Ethernet switches deliver the operational simplicity, carrier-class reliability and integrated security that helps high-performance businesses accelerate the deployment of business-enabling applications and services across the extended enterprise.
