Avaya Korea announced a BusinessPartner relationship with IBM Korea to provide Avaya's data network solutions to the Korean market. Avaya (NYSE: AV), the Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) spinoff that began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on October 2, is a leading provider of enterprise communications systems and software to businesses and organizations worldwide.
According to the BusinessPartner relationship, IBM Korea will not only provide Avaya's data networking solutions through their own channels but also build synergy effects with their server hosting business.
Cajun Series, Avaya's data networking solution, is an integrated networking solution for LAN/WAN establishment consisting of workgroups, backbone switches and wireless network solutions.
Sangchul Lee, sales and marketing manager of Avaya's Data Network Group said: "It is a good opportunity for Avaya Korea to have IBM Korea as a BusinessPartner. Their accumulated knowledge and technology of networking solutions will help introduce Avaya in the market."
