The Avaya VPN Gateway is a secure access solution that extends enterprise applications to remote employees, contractors, partners, and customers. It supports both SSL and Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) capabilities to ensure that users gain access to only the data applications they require, protecting against loss or theft of confidential information. It can also leverage browser-based software already available on a user's PC to provide secure access without the need to distribute or manage client software.
As a software-based solution for VMware-compliant equipment, the VPN Gateway can easily and cost-effectively be deployed on new or existing server platforms. It allows enterprises to quickly provision a flexible yet scalable solution that meets their most demanding secure remote access requirements.
VPN Client
The VPN Client is end-point software for PCs that provides secure access to an Avaya VPN Gateway or other Avaya secure devices. Supporting both IPSec and SSL protocols in a single client version, the client software can run on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Unix operating systems.
