Avaya Recognized as 2011 Global Market Leader in Advanced Enterprise Mobility Solutions by Frost & Sullivan.
For the second consecutive year, Avaya received the 2011 Global Market Share Leadership Award in Enterprise Premises-Based FMC Solutions from Frost & Sullivan.
The 2011 Global Market Share Leadership Award is presented to the company that has demonstrated excellence in capturing the highest market share within its industry. Avaya came out ahead of competitors such as Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Siemens and others.
Avaya led the industry with 35.5 percent of the total advanced premises-based FMC clients shipped in 2010. Avaya's brand recognition, broad portfolio of mobility solutions, bundling strategy and ecosystem contribute to its leadership position.
Frost & Sullivan cited Avaya as one of the pioneers and leaders in fixed mobile convergence.
