Elizabeth Garcia is Region Vice President of Avaya for the Caribbean Latin America (CALA). She has overall responsibility for the company’s operations in the CALA region including sales, services, operations, channel strategy, direct sales, indirect sales, and the company's growing alliances with systems integrators in addition to supporting functions such as HR, Logistics, Legal and Finance. Garcia’s career consists of more than 25 years experience in the telecommunication industry, and a wealth of international experience including 15 years in the CALA region. Prior to this appointment, Elizabeth was vice president of sales for Avaya in CALA. Prior to that she held various sales positions, including region director serving multinational customers, regional channel manager, technical sales support manager and others. Garcia began her career with Southern Bell (now BellSouth) and rapidly moved on to various sales, marketing, business development and management positions at AT&T and then at Lucent Technologies. She has earned many internal recognition awards for her sales achievement, including several International President’s Award, Excellence Awards and others. Garcia is based in South Florida, where the Regional Headquarters for Latin America is located. |
