Whether you are building up from scratch or building out, Avaya Wireless Services are complementary and fully customizable. These services help you to keep your schedules on track, stay within budget, and meet your overall objectives. They include solution design, installation, and implementation, management of Avaya Global Services and third party activities, execution of Service Level Agreements, and seamless turnover when and if you choose to bring wireless maintenance in-house.

These options allow for any budget or staffing need. From remote only or parts plus and from 8-5 to 7x24, Avaya offers many coverage options and Web enabled support to meet the needs of your customer.

Wireless Solutions: Avaya Global Services is offering planning and design services for VoWLAN solutions - specifically addressing RF planning, coverage, capacity, QoS and security issues. Currently, Avaya and its partners can plan and design the complete VoWLAN solution.

Avaya Global services offers implementation services for Wireless LAN deployment. This includes installation, connection and configuration of the Avaya AP-7/8 Access Points and/or the Avaya W310/W110 WLAN solution.

Avaya offers remote only and parts plus remote maintenance service options for its WLAN products. Avaya Global Services partners with 3rd parties to support the 3616/3626 IP Wireless Telephones from a maintenance perspective.

Avaya IP Softphone for Pocket PC extends Communication Manager capabilities to handheld devices running Windows Mobile or Windows for Pocket PC operating systems. These are useful for those mobile applications requiring both voice and data services.

Avaya offers WLAN infrastructure optimized to support voice communications. The W310 WLAN Gateway and W110 WLAN Access Point support the QoS and roaming services required for voice, in an easy to manage, scale and deploy package.

IP Wireless Solutions: Avaya offers two IP Wireless Telephones - the 3616 for general enterprise deployment and the ruggedized 3626 for institutional use. These phones extend the capabilities of Avaya Communication Manager to mobile workers within the building over most WLAN infrastructures, making them more accessible and productive. The Avaya Voice Priority Processor is required to implement quality of service (QoS) for the 3616 and 3626.

Avaya IP Softphone for Pocket PC extends the value of Communication Manager to Windows Mobile (formerly Windows for Pocket PC) enabled handheld devices. This allows warehouse and retail employees to carry a single device for their voice and data communications.

Avaya offers the W310/W110 WLAN solution supporting several capabilities optimized for voice communications. These include QoS, fast roaming between access points and across subnets, 802.11 a/b/g support and strong security features. Because the W310/W110 support a "central controller" and "light access point" architecture, management and deployment are greatly simplified, especially for larger implementations. In addition, Avaya provides traditional "heavy" AP-7 and AP-8 WLAN access points for smaller scale deployments.
