Chris Formant is the Senior Vice President & President, Avaya Government Solutions. Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems, and services.
Formant oversees the government solutions business unit in providing secure and reliable communications solutions to Avaya's government customers around the globe. Previously, Formant led Avaya Global Services and drove a number of programs to drive financial, operational and customer satisfaction to significantly improved levels. Under Formant's leadership, Avaya Global Services earned the prestigious J.D. Power & Associates certification for two consecutive years, as well as numerous awards from the Technology Services Industry Association. Prior to joining Avaya, Formant was an executive vice president of BearingPoint, a global management consulting and technology services company. Formant was named one of the top 25 consultants in the world by Consulting Magazine while at BearingPoint. Prior to BearingPoint, Formant served as CEO of the technology consulting firm Scient, senior partner and global banking leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and executive vice president at MBNA Corp.
Formant has a Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University and a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University.
