Avaya does not sell Avaya Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) directly in Malta.

 

If the Business Partner (BP), distributor or reseller resides in Malta and sells Avaya EEE in Malta, then the BP, distributor or reseller, as importer of the EEE into Malta, is viewed as being the "producer" of the EEE and by law is responsible for the take back and disposal of the WEEE.

 

If the Business Partner (BP), distributor or reseller resides in an EU member state other than Malta and sells Avaya EEE to a third party, which resides in Malta, then the third party, as importer of the EEE into Malta, is viewed as being the "producer" of the EEE and by law is responsible for the take back and disposal of the WEEE.
