Avaya does not sell Avaya Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) directly in Latvia.

 

If the Business Partner (BP), distributor or reseller resides in Latvia and sells Avaya EEE in Latvia, then the BP, distributor or reseller, as importer of the EEE into Latvia, is viewed as being the "producer" of the EEE and by law is responsible for the take back and disposal of the WEEE.

 

If the Business Partner (BP), distributor or reseller resides in an EU member state other than Latvia and sells Avaya EEE to a third party, which resides in Latvia, then the third party, as importer of the EEE into Latvia, is viewed as being the "producer" of the EEE and by law is responsible for the take back and disposal of the WEEE.
