Type of scheme in place: Individual take back scheme.
 
Direct sales:
On notifying Avaya, the customer is obliged to return the WEEE to the recycling facility nominated by Avaya at their cost  as defined by the local implementation of the WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC). Avaya will arrange for the disposal of this WEEE in accordance with the applicable legislation.
 
Indirect sales:
On notifying Avaya, the customer is obliged to return the WEEE to the recycling facility nominated by Avaya at their cost  as defined by the local implementation of the WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC). Avaya will arrange for the disposal of this WEEE in accordance with the applicable legislation.
 
In the event of further distribution or resale, the BP, distributor or reseller should ensure that such obligations are imposed on the third party (i.e. the reseller or end user). In the case of default the BP, distributor or reseller is obliged to dispose of the WEEE in accordance with the applicable legislation at their cost.
