announced the appointment of Cathy Billings Brotherton as Channel
Sales Manager, Small Medium Business Solutions (SMBS) South
Pacific. Billings Brotherton brings a comprehensive range of skills and
experience to Avaya's customers in the SMB market. Her experience
and knowledge regarding the specific communication needs of SMBs,
will assist Avaya in continuing to deliver solutions to SMBs that
will increase productivity and reduce costs. Billings Brotherton comes to Avaya from Singapore
Telecommunications Optus, where she was strategic account manager
with responsibility for the development of corporate accounts. She
has over 13 years experience in the communications industry,
previously holding positions at Inter-Tel Technologies, a US-based
communications company. As Regional Director of Sales at Inter-Tel
Technologies Billings Brotherton's role included specific,
long-term focus on SMB customers. "The SMB market requires specific, affordable and low risk
solutions that will allow them to grow and remain competitive,"
Billings Brotherton said. "It will be my responsibility to work
closely with Avaya BusinessPartners to deliver world-class products
