IDC report shows Avaya gains in revenue and IP ports shipped

Avaya, Inc. (NYSE: AV) a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, today announced that it continues to lead the IP Telephony market in Mexico with a 45 percent market share for the calendar year 2004.
 
According to the recently released IDC report entitled "Mexico Enterprise Network Systems Tracker Q4 2004," the total value of the IP Telephony market in Mexico in 2004 was over US$65 million. According to the IDC report, Avaya leads the IP Telephony market in both revenues and IP ports shipped. The company's market share in Mexico grew from 36 percent in 2003 to 45 percent in 2004.
