The statistics, which measured growth in enterprise IP telephony for the second calendar quarter of 2003 showed Avaya's strong position in the fast-growing IP telephony area. Avaya now accounts for 47.9% of the local IP telephony market, maintaining its leadership position for two consecutive quarters according to Frost and Sullivan's recent report Q2 Asia-Pacific Enterprise IP Telephony Update. The report also notes the outstanding performance of Avaya, whose market share increased 13.2 points from the first quarter to the second quarter.
