Save the Children to receive $1 for every SMS or call recorded on Zang’s free Father’s Day service
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – (June 12, 2017) – Zang, an Avaya company, today announced that its ‘Call Dad’ service is now live and can be used by anyone in the world to send a message to Dad for Father’s Day. In addition, for every SMS or call recorded for Dad, Zang will donate $1 to Save the Children, the global humanitarian organization that works in 120 countries including the United States and Avaya’s official corporate charity
Getting Dad live on the phone can be challenging, especially if you’re separated by multiple time zones. The ‘Call Dad’ service allows anyone to record a voicemail or send a text to their Dad before Father’s Day, designate the date and delivery time and then receive a text confirming the greeting was delivered.
In order to reach Dad on June 18, users only need to follow a few simple steps:
When Dad answers the phone, the pre-recorded greeting will automatically play or the text will be delivered as scheduled. If Dad is busy and misses the call, the greeting is directed to his voicemail for him to listen to at a later time. You will automatically receive a text message to let you know the greeting was sent. If you decide to text him, your message will be pushed to his phone at the time you designated.
