Proven leader focused on further increasing Avaya’s footprint in the Canadian market
Markham, ON, February 13, 2017 – Today Avaya announced the appointment of Rejean Bourgault as Managing Director and President of Sales. In his new role, Bourgault will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share in Canada. He will report directly to Galib Karim, Vice President of Americas International.
With 28 years of experience in the IT industry, including international assignments in Europe and Asia, Bourgault has a proven track record spanning across operations, sales and engineering roles. Previously at Avaya as a Leader in Sales and Operations for Canadian Federal Government accounts, he successfully led his team in some of the largest and most strategic IT initiatives in the country, focusing on cloud and managed services opportunities.
An accomplished leader who has a passion for customers and the future of technology, Bourgault is a member of the World Future Society and holds an Engineering Degree from Sherbrooke University. Bourgault is also recognized for his thought leadership and delivering keynotes on technology to a wide array of audiences with unique energy and passion. Rejean will lead the Canadian Sales Team and continue to deliver best practices and execution across the entire sales organization.
