New role will focus on helping drive digital transformation in the SME and midmarket sectors
Guildford, United Kingdom; 2016: Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, has announced the appointment of Ioan MacRae as Midmarket Director for Avaya International., focusing on Europe and the Africa, Middle East and Asia (AMEA) region. This role will see MacRae streamline Avaya’s midmarket strategy across these key regions.
In his new role, MacRae will be responsible for driving the adoption of Avaya’s midmarket portfolio, improving sales cycles and go-to-market strategies in key countries. Avaya’s midmarket solution is sold purely through its channel partners and MacRae will continue to focus on driving and developing opportunities for midmarket-TAMs, channel and distribution partners in the region.
MacRae has a wealth of sales and management expertise in the technology sector and a deep understanding of the industry. He joined Avaya in March 2014 as Midmarket Director for Europe. Previously he was General Manager, UK, Ireland and Greece for Westcon Group.
