Patti Moran of Avaya Recognized as One of CRN’s 2016 Women of the Channel

Santa Clara, Calif. - May 18, 2016 Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Patti Moran, Sr. Director, US, Canada and Latin America Field and Channel Marketing to its prestigious 2016 Women of the Channel list. This is the fifth year that Patti has been named to the CRN Women of the Channel.

The women executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Patti has played a critical role enabling Avaya Channel Partners to develop their own marketing programs and strategies. Her dedication to educating partners about the value of marketing, as well as extending campaigns and resources has helped grow the indirect channel contribution to Avaya gross revenue to more than 80 percent. Patti’s expertise with channel marketing has also led to an expansion of her role within Avaya to now include oversight of all field and channel marketing for North and Latin America.

“These executives have made a lasting mark on our industry—growing and elevating partner programs, leading transitions to new business models and introducing cutting-edge go-to-market strategies, among other remarkable achievements,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate all the 2016 Women of the Channel and celebrate their singular contributions to the advancement of the channel ecosystem.”

“Patti’s a natural marketer. Creative and intelligent, her approach to marketing has never been solely about the execution of her ideas,” said Joe Lohmeier, vice president, Avaya Global Partner Organization. “She listens, understands and values partner input, then drives the development of a comprehensive set of tools that helps them become effective marketers in growing their Avaya business.”

The 2016 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc2016.
