Avaya Announces Partner Award Winners at Partner Connection Day

Leading UK technology partners honored as Avaya celebrates the contribution of its partner community
 
Guildford, UK; 2016: Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, demonstrated its commitment to its UK partner community, with leading partners being recognized at the recent Avaya Partner Connection Day in Guildford.
 
The Avaya Partner Awards celebrate the role Avaya Connect channel partners have played in driving Avaya’s success in the UK.
 
UK channel partners turned out in force for Avaya Partner Connection Day, where they heard from Andy Litherland, head of EU Channel and Ioan MacRae, head of EU Midmarket, as well as customers and other partners.
 
The UK Avaya Partner Award winners are:
  • Channel Salesperson of the Year: James Hicks, IP Integration
    IP Integration demonstrated 68 percent growth last year. James Hicks led one of its largest and most strategic contract wins, which has contributed enormously to this growth. Hicks demonstrated a deep understanding for both the customer’s needs and Avaya’s solutions.
  • Cloud Excellence: 6DG
    6DG was Avaya’s first partner for its IP Office hosted solution. Through its IP Hosted offering, 6DG has demonstrated its in-depth knowledge of the hosted solutions market and is now leading the way for the UK market to grow in this space.
  • Distributor of the Year: Westcon
    In the past quarter Westcon has achieved considerable growth in the areas of networking, contact centre and midmarket. It continues to increase revenues from its existing resellers through highly successful new incentive programmes, marketing collateral and training.  In the past year it trained over 400 partners and saw over 6,000 downloads of Avaya digital marketing collateral.
  • Marketing Excellence: Sabio
    Sabio continually demonstrates marketing innovation right across the Avaya portfolio using techniques including social media, customer engagement, events and PR. Its investment in marketing consistently delivers a high return on investment and is helping to fuel its continued growth.
  • Midmarket Excellence: Sabio
    Sabio has very quickly begun working with Avaya’s Midmarket Cloud Solutions and has developed its own hosted solution based on Avaya IP Office technology, to take advantage of the strong midmarket demand for cloud-enabled customer experience technology and to drive continued, joint growth.
  • Networking Excellence: c-ways
    c-ways has fully embraced the Avaya networking portfolio, including Fabric Connect technology. It has grown its networking revenues year on year and expanded significant contracts.
  • Technical Excellence: Maintel
    Maintel is a true leader in the adoption of Avaya solutions. Its consistent investment in its Avaya skillset has seen Maintel become one of the most highly Avaya Certified partners globally. For example, it recently became one of the first UK partners to complete the ACE-FX certification.
