Avaya Appoints Roberto Schmidl to Vice President of Cloud and Strategic Services Sales, EU and AMEA

Guildford, UK – 2016: Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, today announced it is appointing Roberto Schmidl to Vice President of Cloud and Strategic Services Sales, EU and AMEA.
 
The past year has been a landmark year for Avaya Cloud Services globally, with particularly strong growth in the EU.  With such strong demand for Avaya’s diverse cloud-based solutions, Roberto’s new role will see him focus on ensuring these customers derive true innovation value from their solution and on continuing to grow Avaya’s Cloud Services in the region.
 
Roberto brings with him more than 18 years of highly relevant experience and commitment to Avaya. Previously he led the company’s Client Services in EMEA, and most recently he was VP of the Global Avaya Private Cloud Services Sales team.   Roberto will take up his new role immediately.
