Santa Clara, Calif. – Avaya, a global provider of business communications and collaboration software and services, today announced its Avaya Connect Partners of the Year for 2014. These channel partners were recognized at its annual Americas Executive Partner Forum in Cancun, Mexico, an event to drive partner engagement and focus on growth priorities for the year.
The Avaya Connect Partner Program is a global reseller program that makes it easy for partners to get fast access to Avaya resources and innovations. This year, Avaya focused on the transformation occurring in the industry and how channel partners can capitalize on the shift. In this vein, the company is driving a partner-enablement strategy to address the growing market demand for Engagement Solutions in the midmarket and enterprise with flexible, cloud-based services available through the channel.

The event also celebrated those Avaya Connect Partners who have successfully driven business outcomes for their customers. Channel partners receiving awards at this year's conference are not only innovation enablers but also help Avaya achieve growth metrics in key areas. Based on these criteria, Avaya recognizes the following channel partners in the United States and Americas International (comprised of Canada and Latin America):

Avaya Midmarket Partner of the Year:
  • US: Carousel Industries of North America, Inc.
  • Americas International: 6Telecom (Canada)

As Avaya enters 2015, the company will look to the channel for continued growth in key solution areas and alignment with services strategy. Avaya is also looking to accelerate commerce through improvements in partner processes that further reduce purchase and renewal quote times. With these advancements, Avaya hopes to continue to improve the ease of doing business with its partners and build on the 12 percent satisfaction increase it saw in 2014.
