Avaya Recognizes Outstanding APAC Channel Partner Achievements at Executive Partner Conference in Bangkok

  • Avaya Connect Channel Partners recognized for revenue performance, focus on new market opportunities and value delivered to customers
Bangkok, Thailand – Avaya, a leading global provider of communications solutions that enable customer and team engagement, today announced the winners of its Asia Pacific Avaya Connect Channel Partner Awards for 2015. The Awards were presented at the annual Avaya Executive Partner Forum (AEPF) event held in Bangkok from May 18-20.

Over 650 participants from across the Asia Pacific region thronged the sessions at this year’s Avaya Engage Week – which combined both the AEPF and the company’s flagship Avaya Technology Forum (ATF) customer event. The APAC-wide winners in the five main categories were as follows:
Avaya Connect Top Networking Partner, Asia Pacific: Texcell-Netcom.
Texcell-Netcom was the top revenue contributor for the networking business with 176% year on year growth, and among the highest levels of customer satisfaction across Avaya’s entire channel ecosystem.
Avaya Connect Top Enterprise Partner, Asia Pacific: Jebsen & Jessen Communications
J&J is recognized for a combination of strong revenue performance, and creating value-added, innovative applications to wrap around the Avaya proposition and deliver an end-to-end solution to the customer.
Avaya Connect Top Services Partner, Asia Pacific: Optus Business
Optus has partnered effectively with Avaya to deliver a full range of services, backed by the combined resources of both organizations, to drive better customer engagement and satisfaction levels.
Avaya Connect Distributor of the Year, Asia Pacific: Westcon Group Asia Pacific
Westcon has invested significantly in its relationship with Avaya to become the largest revenue contributor across APAC. It has seen great momentum in the Midmarket space in particular, and positioned itself for continued success in the year ahead.
Avaya Connect Partner of the Year, Asia Pacific: Telstra
Telstra has provided the widest range of Avaya solutions and services to companies of all sizes. It saw double digit growth with Avaya in the Midmarket and best in class service renewal rates – offering customers industry-leading solutions with an end-to-end quality experience.
There was a feeling of optimism and growth opportunity surrounding the Avaya Engage Week event. Over 80% of customers and 68% of channel partners predicted positive business growth for their companies in the year ahead. Significant technology evolutions, including the rapid deployment of new applications and services, the evolution to a software defined architecture, enhanced mobile application environments and the untapped potential of Big Data all high on the agenda for companies across the region. This was according to pre-event polls conducted with both customer and partner attendees.
As well as the five main award recipients, area and country-level awards were also won by a number of other high-performing channel and distribution partners including DTSI (Philippines), ECS Telecom (Korea), AGC Networks (ANZ), FXD IT Solutions (Malaysia), World Information Technology (Thailand), Distribution Central (ANZ), Avnet Technology Solutions (Thailand), Vnetwork System (Malaysia), CCNA (ANZ) and Hansol Inticube (Korea).
