Avaya's Patti Moran Named to CRN's Women of the Channel Power 100

17 Jun 2013
Santa Clara, Calif.  – Avaya today announced that Patti Moran, senior director, Global Sales Marketing & Communications, Avaya, has been named to CRN's 2013 Women of the Channel list for the second consecutive year, and has been recognized as one of this year's Power 100.

The annual Women of the Channel list highlights female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers based on their accomplishments over the past year, and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward. The Power 100 recognizes an elite subset of the women based on their rank, influence, channel savvy, and exceptional achievements.

Moran oversees marketing and communications for Avaya’s go-to-market initiatives and channel programs, which includes the delivery of consistent, relevant and actionable communications to Avaya's 9,000 global channel partners. This includes creating and driving marketing programs to and through the partner community – including Avaya's annual virtual partner summits, quarterly marketing updates, and social media initiatives. Recent go-to-market program accomplishments driven by Moran for partners include:
  • Increased customer consideration rates for Avaya partners through partner marketing programs, including Avaya’s free, self-service program (Partner Marketing Central), full-service campaigns delivered globally through MarketLeaders, and the Global Content Syndication Program delivering real-time content automatically in 9 languages to partner websites globally.
  • Empowered partners to capture mid-market opportunities through leads and social media, using virtual marketing forums and industry experts.
  • Increased close rates through the launch of globally-available demonstration videos, hosted applications, turnkey demonstration kits and rental units.
  • Reinforced Avaya’s Power of We message throughout the partner community through executive outreach and quarterly global executive broadcasts for partners.
A special feature of the Women of the Channel is in the June issue of CRN magazine and expanded coverage of the Power 100 will be featured online at www.crn.com.
