Guildford, UK – Utilitywise Plc was established as the UK's leading  utilities fulfillment company, focused on the UK's business markets for Electricity, Gas and Water at B2B level. Utilitywise Plc had selected Avaya IP Office, installed by Avaya partner Powerdial, to run the business, but significant growth – upwards of 60 new customers per day – and a flotation on the AIM meant that the company needed to move to new premises and increase staff significantly to service that growing business.
Utilitywise Plc took the decision to review vendors to ensure that they had the best possible technology to underpin their business growth, and that the implementation of that technology was designed to maximise business options while minimising the downtime associated with both moving and staffing up. Avaya IP Office, with its SIP backbone, was attractive to the business.
In addition, the system design created by Powerdial and Avaya has no single point of failure, allowing Utilitywise Plc to keep its business running and growing, while serving the needs of every one of its customers.
"We originally chose Avaya because it ticked all the boxes we wanted, and is a recognised leader in the call centre space, with the R&D spend and business prominence to back up their offerings. In a market where our clients and potential clients understand outsourcing, they acknowledge that Avaya offers probably the best and most reliable contact centre platform out there. For those and other reasons it made Avaya a very low risk solution back in 2010 and moving to the IPO Server Edition in 2012 was a natural progression."
"Avaya offers system scalability through a proven VOIP and SIP infrastructure. We needed to design and implement a solution that would fit Utilitywise's requirements both now and into the future. Our knowledge of the contact centre space, and the reliability demanded in that sector, meant there was really only one choice and that was Avaya. We are delighted to help Utilitywise leverage this technology to continue their business growth."
"Avaya IP Office is a unique offering in that its scalability and flexibility allows any business to maximise their options. The technology works for the business, rather than the other way around, and that’s an attractive proposition particularly for small to mid-size businesses intent on maintaining and gaining market share. As businesses grow, Avaya IP Office grows with them – and we’re thrilled to be part of Utilitywise's success."
