SYDNEY, Australia – Avaya today announced that specialist systems integrator, 3D Networks, will deploy the Avaya Flare® Experience real-time collaboration solution throughout its Australian offices to provide all executives with the multi-modal next generation collaboration solution. 3D Networks will deploy the Flare Experience on the Avaya Desktop Video Device (ADVD), to provide, voice and video telephony, web conferencing, social media, calendar and scheduling functions from a single user interface. The company also plans to expand its deployment of Avaya Flare on the ADVD to its offices throughout Asia-Pacific region over the next 12 months.

3D Networks was particularly impressed with the high quality video conferencing available through the Avaya Flare Experience, and its ease of use through the drag and drop function on the screen. The executive team at 3D Networks travels frequently throughout Australia and the company anticipates saving time and budget while it enhances collaboration among team members who can interact through just a touch of the screen. The company anticipates that the solution will help reduce the amount of travel – and therefore carbon footprint, dollar costs and time out of office, and projects saving approximately $35,000 per person in travel within the next 12 months and increasing productivity by approximately 30 percent.

Over time, the Platinum-certified Avaya Connect Channel Partner with offices throughout Asia-Pacific, also plans to deploy Avaya Desktop Video Devices with the Flare Experience to executives throughout the region.

3D Networks uses the Avaya Aura® unified communications architecture for multi-session, multi-modal communications and collaboration whilst still preserving investments in its existing Avaya CS1000 infrastructure. Avaya Aura's Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-based platform enables 3D Networks to roll out next generation unified communication applications and services like the Flare Experience, or centralized unified messaging and conferencing, simply and cost effectively.

The Avaya Desktop Video Device with the Flare Experience was recently highlighted as "best-in-class" for integrating video conferencing with other core enterprise applications (see Additional Resources below). The Avaya Flare Experience offers quick and easy access to real-time communications and collaboration tools. Capabilities include desktop video, social media, audio/video/web conferencing, multiple directories, presence, instant messaging, and contextual history. It eliminates the need to use different interfaces and different directories to communicate across various types of tools.

The Avaya Desktop Video Device is a fit-for-purpose collaboration tool with high definition video and high quality audio combined with a capacitive touch screen interface. The Avaya Flare Experience and Avaya Desktop Video Device together enhance user productivity by offering a single look and feel for all modes of communication, be it voice video or instant messaging. The intuitive controls allow users to quickly and efficiently collaborate with customers and colleagues, setting up conferences and sharing of documents, all the while with full contextual history at their fingertips.
