Rauland-Borg Corporation Selected for Membership in Avaya DevConnect Program

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL – Rauland-Borg, a manufacturer of Nurse Call communication solutions, today announced it has been selected by Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration systems, software and services, for membership in the Avaya DevConnect program.
 
Rauland-Borg is the developer of the Responder® 5 Nurse Call system, an enhanced communication solution that provides instant connection to patient calls. A nurse call system is the primary device that connects the patient to a staff member on the unit, and an imperative part of life safety and patient care initiatives. Responder 5 software uses an open infrastructure to communicate with wireless phones, RTLS and more - enabling hospitals to keep their patients and caregivers connected.
 
The Avaya DevConnect program promotes the development, compliance-testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party products that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions.  Member organizations have expertise in a broad range of technologies – including IP telephony, contact centers and mobility applications – helping companies extend the value of multivendor networks and transform voice into an intelligent business application that delivers true value to the bottom line.
