Sanlih Entertainment Television Launches Digital Broadcasting System in Taiwan with Avaya Data Solution

TAIPEI, Taiwan – Avaya, a global provider of enterprise communications systems, software and services, announced that Sanlih Entertainment Television (SetTV) has chosen Avaya as the data network infrastructure solution provider for SetTV's recently launched news digital production and broadcasting system.
 
The network upgrade, using the Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch (ERS) 8800 is part of SetTV's transformation program to install a news digital production and broadcasting system. With the 10 Gigabit solutions from Avaya, SetTV has improved network scalability and overall capacity so that it can handle not only today’s new generation of applications and technologies, but also upcoming evolutions in the coming years.
