Avaya is committed to helping the nonprofit community fulfill its collective mission. Our philanthropic programs build on our strengths and core values.
The cornerstone of Avaya’s charitable giving program is providing communications solutions to nonprofits as well as supporting initiatives in our local communities through our volunteer councils as well as through support to local first responders.
We work with selected local, national and international disaster relief agencies to identify communications technology solutions that will improve their responsiveness during an emergency.
Volunteerism is at the core of our connection to the community. Avaya supports volunteerism locally at each site through Employee Activity Counsels which work to identify needs in the areas of which our facilities are located.
Activities focus on education, health and welfare, hospitals and veteran’s centers.
Programs include:
- Mentoring at local schools
- Volunteering at hospitals
- Support of organizations like MS, United Way, and the American Heart Association
- Take Your Child to Work
- Contributing to food banks and shelters.
